Dr (Mrs) Firoza Chariwala
Mrs Chariwala is the principal dentist at The Smile Clinics. She graduated from Liverpool University in 1999 and opened her first practice in 2005. Within a year "The Smile
Clinic™" was both a national & regional award winning practice.
Mrs Chariwala enjoys working as a Dentist and has a particular professional interest in smile make-overs as well as Orthodontics (braces). She is a certified provider of
"Inman" Orthodontic Aligners which complements the general orthodontic service she provides.

Dentisit
Dr (Mrs) Madelaine Jackson
Our full time Dentist at the Bolton Practice qualified in 2004 from Queen’s University Belfast and joined the Bolton Smile Clinic in 2006. Madelaine has an interest in general dentistry and the importance of “Preventative Dentistry”. She is currently completing a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman, University College London. This will enhance her knowledge in all aspects of Restorative Dentistry.
In her spare time away from her dentistry and studies, she enjoys burning calories at the gym and honing her skills in horse riding.
Dr (Mrs) Zakiyya Seedat
Zakiyya qualified in 2000 in South Africa. She has been working in the UK since March 2002 and offers a comprehensive service for general dental care and maintenance and is especially good with winning over children!

Julie Barton
Julie has been with the practices since 2008 and has been a great inspiration to all the team. She is available at each of the practices part-time and is always available over the phone. Julie’s responsibility is to supervise the staff and oversee all aspects of our service to make sure the patient journey is as smooth and as pleasant as can be.

Dr (Mr) Z Chariwala
Mr Chariwala is co-founder of The Smile Clinic and aside from his work as a GP in Manchester, he oversees non-clinical supervision, aiming to maintain a high standard of
service. He is keen to promote wellbeing of staff and patients and works with these goals in mind.
Mr Chariwala enjoys motorsports of all kinds and relaxes by playing tennis and studying 12th century Philosophical texts. He has a professional interest in Dementia and in
Medical applications of Nanotechnology.

Qualified Dental Nurse/ Treatment co-ordinator
Natalie Day
Natalie joined The Smile Clinic team in August 2011. She is a qualified dental nurse and has additional qualifications in Oral Health Care and has gained a Dental Nursing NVQ level 3. As treatment coordinator and having experience in different treatment procedures, Natalie will be on hand to give advice on treatment stages, treatment options and any other queries you may have.
"I enjoy spending time with my two girls, family, friends and my new puppy Lennon. Being a mother of two, I pride myself in being especially in-tune with younger patients and understanding the concerns of parents. I am hard working and love being part of the team."
Qualified Dental Nurse/oral hygiene provider
Fazila Ali
Fazila works part-time at both the Bolton and Horwich branches as an Oral Hygiene Facilitator. She provides patients with regular reviews and advice to help improve their general dental knowledge. Fazila also provides fluoride varnish applications to teeth which help strengthen your teeth and reduce the likelihood of decay.
"My professional interests lie in furthering my nursing qualifications. I have a clinical interest in “Dental Impressions” as well as “Radiology”. I am available at the clinics to provide you with oral hygiene advice and any other help you need."
Nurses
Lucy Booth
Lucy has been working at the The Smile Clinic since June 2009. She is a fully qualified Dental Nurse and is interested in furthering her qualifications in the coming year by completing a “Dental Radiology” course. As well as being a dedicated nurse to one of the dentists, Lucy can sometimes be found helping out on reception and will be more than happy to give you any information you may require.
Lucy Lives with her boyfriend & in her spare time enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Roxanne Jones
As our second receptionist, Roxanne can be found either on reception or nursing with one of our dentists. She is a qualified dental nurse and has been with The Smile Clinic since 2006. She is the infection control supervisor at the practice and ensures the practice clinical standards are maintained.
Roxanne lives with her boyfriend and enjoys socialising with her friends and eating out.

Reception Staff
Natasha Davies
Natasha has been with the Smile Clinic since October 2009. She will be ready to meet and greet you at reception and is happy to answer telephone calls and emails. As designated fire marshal at the practice, Natasha is responsible for ensuring that your visit is as safe as possible. She enjoys working with people and loves being part of The Smile Clinic team. Natasha has completed a communication course and is now doing a business administration course.
Natasha lives with her long term partner, and enjoys "Zumba" and socializing with friends and family.
